In Bhalil you are welcomed by a local family in a house carved into the rock, with a glass of mint tea. In the forest near Azrou you can walk among centuries-old cedars and meet the Barbary macaques that live there.

Pickup at your hotel or riad in Fes around 9 am. Walk through the medina of Sefrou and see its waterfall, then visit the village of Bhalil and its cave houses, where a local family welcomes you for tea. Continue to Ifrane and its alpine houses and gardens, and to the cedar forest of Azrou to see the monkeys and the ancient trees. Return to Fes in the late afternoon.
